Percutaneous Transhepatic Biliary Drainage (PTBD) means that a drainage catheter is placed after percutaneous transhepatic puncture of the bile duct under the guidance of imaging equipment to allow bile to flow outside the body or into the duodenum. Leading the general trend of domestic substitution of imports, Leapmed has independently developed and produced domestic cholangial drainage catheters since 2015, offering both single catheters (for one-step method) and kits (for two-step method). The pigtail-shaped tip and locking wire of the drainage catheter prevent displacement. The hydrophilic coating on the catheter contributes to smooth puncture. The independently-developed catheter fixation device ensures stable and secure fixation of the catheter. We offer both external biliary drainage catheters and internal and external biliary drainage catheters.
